Frequently Asked Questions
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don’t need any experience at all—your session will be relaxed, guided, and enjoyable from start to finish. I’ll walk you through poses, prompts, and natural interactions so you never feel unsure of what to do. The most important thing is to show up as yourselves, wear something comfortable, and trust the process. Kids don’t have to be perfectly still, parents don’t have to be models, and authentic moments always make the best photos. My job is to create a stress-free experience and capture your family at your best—real, connected, and beautifully you.
What should we wear?
Choose clothing that feels comfortable and coordinates well without being too “matchy.” Neutral tones and soft colors photograph beautifully. Avoid all black. For babies and toddlers make sure the diaper is not visible under dresses and that you bring a change of clothes in case an accident happens.
How long does it take to get our photos?
You’ll receive a gallery of beautifully edited digital images within 2–3 weeks. From there, you can download your favorites and order prints if you’d like.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Sessions can be done outdoors in natural light, in your home for a cozy lifestyle look, or at a location we choose together. I’m happy to recommend locations based on the style you want.
